2021 Sonoma County
Cabernet Sauvignon

Lively and youthful with notes of juicy red fruits, black olive tapenade, and fine-grained tannins.

Opaque, brilliant garnet in the glass, vibrant aromas of mixed berry compote, Morello cherry, and fresh mint emerge, leading to concentrated, juicy flavors of blueberry, black currant, and tobacco leaf. The 2021 vintage offers a lifted expression of cabernet sauvignon with a luxurious mouthfeel, laced with fine grained tannins, and a long, mouthwatering finish.

2020 ACCOLADES

92 pts, Jeb Dunnuck
“Coming mostly from Alexander Valley fruit, the 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon pours a dark but transparent ruby red, and its aromatics are ripe with notes of red plum, mocha, and fresh earth. It delivers gushing fruit up front, with kirsch, tea leaf, and gravelly earth. Its ripe tannins turn a touch drying on the finish, but this is an outstanding wine with a ton of value. Drink over the next few years.” – Audrey Frick

Sonoma County stretches from the Pacific Coast in the west to the Mayacamas Mountains in the east, and is home to almost 60,000 acres of vineyards. Within the borders are 18 AVAs, each with its own distinctive characteristics.

We source from select vineyard sites in the Alexander Valley and Moon Mountain districts for our Sonoma County cabernet sauvignon. In each of these sub-appellations, plentiful sunshine and well-drained soils produce elegant and intensely structured wines.
