2021 Moon Mountain
Cabernet Franc

Beautifully balanced with enticing notes of ripe black plum, blueberry, and white pepper mingling with earthy notes of cut greens and wet slate. *Limited release*

This ruby colored wine shows alluring aromas of black plum, violet, and a touch of dried herbs. Lifted notes of boysenberry, cranberry, and anise dance on the palate, intertwined with clove and crushed white pepper. Fine-grained tannins lend tension to the full-bodied palate, leading into a lingering, velvety finish.

Moon Mountain, Sonoma County

Sonoma County encompasses 60,000 acres of vineyards and 18 distinct appellations. We focus on sourcing fruit for our Sonoma County cabernet franc from the Moon Mountain district to provide elegant and intensely structured wines.

The Moon Mountain District is located in the eastern hills above Sonoma Valley at elevations ranging from 400 to over 2,000 feet within the Mayacamas Mountain Range. With predominantly southeastern facing slopes and rocky, volcanic soils, the region is known for producing high quality, full-bodied varieties such as cabernet franc.
